Viennese Reunion

Stopover #2 on our way 'home': Vienna for a lunch with a friend we met earlier in the year in Nepal, who is also a native of the city.

Unfortunately, the shambolic operations of Pegasus Airlines and their hub at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen airport (seriously, avoid both at all costs if you can) meant that we didn't arrive in time for the planned lunch at a Nepalese restaurant, and instead had to settle for a liquid meal at posh Viennese hipster dive bar cafe (trust us, the description is entirely accurate) instead.

And we were already running late, but the fact that just when the plane got close to landing in Vienna it had to do a go around (which is why you see the airport tauntingly close in the second photo) seemed a fitting end to the journey.
